A draft law on the adoption of the loan agreement signed between Tunisia and the German Development Bank (KFW) on July 11, 2018 and aimed at financing the programme to support reforms in the banking and financial sector was also approved by the Cabinet at its regular meeting chaired by Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, according to a statement from the Prime Ministry.

The Cabinet adopted draft government decrees, including one amending the governmental decree No. 504 of the year 2018, dated June 7, 2018, which sets the procedures and conditions for regularising the situations of the old urban agglomerations built on the private domain of the State.

A second decree pertains to the appointment of the President of the National Telecommunications Authority (French: INT).

As for the third draft decree, it sets the conditions, procedures and deadlines for awarding and withdrawing the startup label and the benefits granted to such businesses, the statement said.

The Cabinet discussed the situation in the governorate of Nabeul following the floods and the progress of the actions launched and the implementation of the decisions announced by the Prime Minister at a Small Cabinet meeting in the city last September 26.

It also looked at the health situation in the country in particular, with regard to the prevention of epidemics and communicable diseases, in order to avoid the deterioration of the situation
