Chahed entrusted ministers with inspecting damage caused by floods

(TAP) - Ministers have been charged by the Prime Minister to visit Greater Tunis, Kasserine and Nabeul to inspect the damage caused by floods.

According to a source from the Prime Ministry, Interior Minister Hichem Fourati has been entrusted with inspecting Greater Tunis, Minister of Local Affairs and Environment Riadh Mouakhar went to Nabeul, Minister of Equipment Mohamed Salah Arfaoui to Kasserine and Transport Minister Radhouan Ayara to Kef.

The PM also instructed Social Affairs Minister Mohamed Trabelsi and Health Minister Imed Hammami to provide immediate assistance to victims and to accommodate patients with chronic diseases requiring periodic care in hospitals.

Heavy and stormy rains are expected today on Greater Tunis, Bizerte, Zaghouan, Nabeul, Beja, Jendouba and the Sahel regions.

Classes have been suspended since Wednesday in several parts of the country because of bad weather
