(TAP) - Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok stressed after talks with Prime Minister Youssef Chahed on Thursday in Kasbah both countries’ commitment to further boost bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic, security and counter-terrorism fields.

The Dutch FM also spoke about co-operation in the fight against unemployment and enhancing employability, noting that Tunisia is a model to follow in the consolidation of stability in the region, establishing democracy and promotion of women's rights.

Quoted in a statement from the Prime Ministry, the Dutch minister commended the privileged relations between Tunisia and the Netherlands in several priority sectors.

He underlined "the importance of his visit to Tunisia, which comes after Prime Minister Youssef Chahed’s visit to the Netherlands and aims to foster the relations of co-operation and friendship between the two countries
