(TAP) – President Beji Caid Essebsi chaired on Friday a Cabinet meeting devoted to the examination of two draft laws. The first consists in a presidential initiative supplementing the Personal Status Code and the second regards the organisation of the State of emergency.

The Cabinet approved the first bill and decided however to examine in-depth the draft law on the State of emergency, as regards notably the guarantees and the judicial review before submitting it again to a Cabinet meeting as soon as possible
