These include the implementation of the National Register of Unique Identifier that will affect 14 million names including those of people who have been dead for 30 years, the electronic birth certificate, electronic payment of municipal revenues, the digitisation of building permit management and the creation of an integrated network for local communities.

As for the Ministry of Higher Education, it makes available to students the smart card to have access to catering services, housing, and scholarships, said Khalbous.

Online platforms will also be created to offer additional training to student and track their employability after graduation.

These platforms require more training of trainers in the digital field and the digitisation of diplomas in all specialties, the minister added.

For her part, Lounissi said that her department will work to digitize the system of obtaining the certificate of professional competence in addition to the creation of vocational training service and entrepreneurship platforms.
