It is necessary to support the promoters of these successful projects, said Prime Minister Youssef Chahed on the fringes of his visit to the cable plant Leoni, set up in the locality of Menzel Hayet in Monastir.

The cost of this project, started in May 2018, is estimated at 200 million dinars.

The plant employs 700 workers and projects to raise this number to 2,000 by 2019, and to 5,000 in two or three years.

On visit to Monastir, Chahed inspected the sites of several projects and inaugurated the Sahel road project at the level of the Beni Hassen intersection on the regional road 191.
