Youssef Chahed condoles with families of Sebbala’s accident victims

(TAP)- Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, visited the locality of Blahdia (Sebbala) in Sidi Bouzid on Sunday morning to offer his condolences to the families of the victims of the accident that occurred on Saturday.

A collision between a truck carrying farm workers and a poultry transport truck occurred in the locality of Charaa in the Sebbala delegation, killing 12 people and injuring 20.

At the local cemetery, Chahed recited the Fatiha in memory of the victims, who were buried on Saturday.

He then met with the local people of Blahdia, who are essentially demanding the rehabilitation of the road linking their locality to National Road No. 13.

The inhabitants also demand the supply of fresh water and the construction of an irrigated area and a dispensary, in addition to the purchase of a bus to transport students, but also to help the inhabitants to move to the centre of Sebbala.

The Prime Minister recommended that care be given for the families of the victims, calling for facilitating them travel to the hospitals in Sidi Bouzid, Sfax and Sousse to go to the bedside of their relatives injured in the accident.
