Prime Minister Najla Bouden meets Algerian counterpart, discuss 22nd session of High Joint Commission

(TAP) – Prime Minister Najla Bouden met on Thursday in Kasbah visiting Algerian Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Ayman Benabderrahmane.

The meeting discussed the holding of the 22nd session of the Tunisian-Algerian High Joint Commission in Algiers and ways to boost bilateral co-operation in various fields.

Bouden was quoted by a Prime Ministry statement as stressing the importance of raising bilateral cooperation to the level of strategic and sustainable partnership.

She also emphasised the need to develop this cooperation in the areas of trade, industry, investment, energy and infrastructure and the development of border areas.

For his part, the Algerian Prime Minister noted the willingness of the two countries\\' leaders to put bilateral cooperation at the service of common development and investment objectives.

Benabderrahmen also stressed the importance of continuing the dialogue between the two countries and the exchange of visits in order to accelerate the pace of trade and coordination on regional and international issues of common interest.
