(TAP) – Prime Minister Youssef Chahed affirmed on Tuesday that Tunisia aspires to position itself by 2020 among the 1st fifty countries at the international level and the 1st three countries in the Arab world in the Doing Business report.

Tunisia dropped from the 46th place in 2012 to the 88th in 2018 globally, he pointed out in an address on the occasion of the inauguration of a conference on Decree No. 417 on the cancelation of authorisations to engage in economic activities.

This decree, published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Tunisia (JORT) on May 11, aims to promote Tunisia site attractiveness by canceling authorisations and easing administrative procedures
