(TAP) – The Cabinet meeting, which was chaired Wednesday by Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, approved a series of government bills and decrees.

A statement issued by the Prime Ministry said the bills and decrees approved are as follows:

- Draft law approving a loan agreement signed on June 7, 2018 between Tunisia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development to finance a project to develop irrigated agriculture in Tunisia,

- Draft government decree on the organisation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

- Draft government decree establishing a management unit by objectives for the implementation of the quality management project and support for the accreditation of the biotoxin analysis laboratory at the National Institute of Marine Sciences and Technologies,

- Draft government decree on the organisation of the regional agricultural development commissions in the governorates of Kairouan, Kasserine, Sidi Bouzid, Sfax and Mahdia,

- Draft government decree establishing a management unit by objectives within the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment for the implementation of a project to improve the management of the State budget and defining its mode of organisation and operation,

- Draft government decree approving the transfer to the State at symbolic dinar of a land located in Ksar Said 2 (Tunis governorate) as part of a special social housing programme,

- Draft government decree establishing a management unit by objectives within the Ministry of Communication Technologies and Digital Economy for the implementation of a project to improve the management of the state budget and defining its mode of organisation and operation.

The Cabinet meeting also adopted the multi-sector strategy for early childhood development for 2017-2025.

It also provided the opportunity to present a set of social and educational data and review the final results of this year’s national exams
