PM visits besides of children at Aziza Othmana Hospital, inquires about recent security preparations

(TAP) – Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, on Monday night, visited the Aziza Othmana Hospital in the capital where he went to the bedside of children without support at the Pediatric Hematology and Immunology Unit.

He also visited the bedside of cancer patients in the medical oncology department at the Aziza Othmana hospital, where he inquired about their health and hospital stay conditions.

The Prime Minister then visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior, where he learned in the operations room about the security measures taken at the level of traffic at the entrance of cities and tourists areas on the End of Year celebrations.

Speaking to reporters, Youssef Chahed wished a happy year 2019 to Tunisians, hoping that all efforts will be combined to overcome differences, serve Tunisians and improve their living conditions.

He also said that all steps have been taken to secure borders and combat terrorism and organised crime.

These measures have been implemented for two days and will continue for the next few days, he stressed.

At the headquarters of the Interior Ministry, the Prime Minister was briefed about the interventions of the anti-terrorist brigade.

During the two visits, Youssef Chahed was accompanied by the Ministers of Public Health and the Interior as well as executives of the two departments
