(TAP) – Prime Minister Elyes Fakhfakh chaired Friday evening in Dar Dhiafa in Carthage, the periodic meeting of the National COVID-19 Monitoring Authority.

The meeting focused on the latest developments in the health and social situation in the country, the pace of market supply and the availability of basic necessities in all regions, a statement by the Prime Ministry said.

On this occasion, Fakhfakh stressed the need to coordinate all efforts to ensure compliance with the total lockdown.

He also stressed the importance of speeding up the distribution of social aid to beneficiaries, in accordance with the announced deadlines and mechanisms and within the framework of compliance with health measures, the same source said.
