The Prime Ministry has decided to file a complaint against MP and President of the Free Destourien party Abir Moussi, as well as the other members of her parliamentary bloc at the House of People’s Representatives (ARP), for  violating the working mechanisms of State institutions and obstructing activities of a public utility.

In a statement released Monday, the Prime Ministry expressed its categorical rejection of the behavior of MP Abir Moussi who leveled threats against Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research   Olfa Ben Ouda, and Social Affairs Minister Mohamed Trabelsi during a hearing session at the parliament. Moussi had caused a state of chaos within the parliament an hour after the start of Monday’s plenary dedicated to hearing government members. Moussi and members of her parliamentary bloc called on the Minister of Education to leave the room. The meeting was adjourned twice and finally postponed until an unspecified later date.

MPs of the Destourien party also refused the presence of the members of the current government within the ARP and called for the resignation of Mechichi government as well as Parliament Speaker Rached Ghannouchi.
