(TAP) - The People\\\\\\'s Republic of China has decided to deliver Tunisia 500,000 doses of Sinovac coronavirus vaccine, as soon as possible, to help it combat the pandemic, China\\\\\\'s ambassador to Tunisia Zhang Jianguo said during at a meeting with Prime Minister Najla Bouden Tuesday in Kasbah.

The PM voiced gratitude for the assistance provided by China, while stressing Tunisia\\\\\\'s willingness to boost relations with China and raise them to a higher level in the interest of peoples in both countries, the Chinese embassy in Tunis said in a statement.

The Chinese ambassador affirmed his country\\\\\\'s commitment to promote friendly and cooperative relations with Tunisia and to coordinate development strategies of the two countries so as to support Tunisia in its economic and social development.

The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and cooperation in all fields, according to the same source.
