National Anti-Terror Commission convenes

(TAP) - The National Anti-Terror Commission convened, on Wednesday in Dar Dhiafa in Carthage under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Habib Essid to help take stock of the achievement in the previous step.

The Prime Minister emphasised the need to co-ordinate actions between the different ministerial departments to help the Commission fulfill its mission in optimum conditions, according to a statement of the Prime Ministry.

Essid highlighted the role of the Commission in the sensitisation against the phenomenon of terrorism notably through campaigns of cultural and educational programmes calling to involve the civil society in this process.

Kamel Jendoubi, Minister in Charge of Relations with the Constitutional Authorities, Civil Society and Human Rights gave an account on the speech to be followed as part of the countering terrorism calling to optimise the use of new technologies and fight against speech of hatred, the same statement reads.
