The National Center of Informatics


LThe National Center of Informatics (NCI) has been created since 30 December 1975, as a public enterprise having a commercial and industrial nature, endowed with the civil personality and financial independence. In 1997, the Center was reclassified as a non-administrative public enterprise.

Being one of the principal public operators in the concretization of the national strategy of the sector of informatics and the principal support to the public structures in the realization, installation and exploitation of the Information systems, the national center of informatics (CNI) is in charge of the following missions:

  • Info-management of the national information systems of the Administration,
  • Implementation and deployment of the Electronic Administration;
  • Delegated control of works;
  • Fixing and proposal of the engineering methods, standards and techniques;
  • Assistance of the users;
  • Realization of studies: of orientation, strategic and missions of informatics audit;
  • Training in the field of informatics for the profit of the public establishments.

 

Sectoral informatics centers:

The sectoral informatics centers (informatics Center of the ministry of Finance and the informatics Center of the Ministry of Public Health) are also considered as parties in the implementation of the electronic administration projects. They assume a large responsibility as a delegated master of works at the occasion of recourse to the private sector for the implementation of the electronic administration projects.
